Description: This year, the theme of World Tourism Day is “Tourism for Inclusive Growth,” focusing on growth and inclusive recovery .The primary reason to celebrate this day is to bring awareness about how tourism affects the country's economy, social, cultural, and political values. In 1997, the UNWTO decided to host the World Tourism Day in the designated country each year in Turkey.UN World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) in its third session, which took place in Spain, decided to institute World Tourism Day, with its first celebration in the year 1980. The date 27 September was chosen to mark the tenth anniversary of the adoption of the UNWTO Statutes on 27 September 1970.
