Description: Deepak,resident of Joginder Nagar Distt. Mandi(H.P) belongs to a humblefamily. His father works in private company as class IV employee. He has two younger sisters. Looking onto his near future, he assumes that all responsibilities of the family shall be laid upon himhe used to get quite upset whenever he thought about future.He joined GSSS(Boys) Joginder Nagar for my further studies where he met the vocational Trainer(Automotive) while taking admission there. The vocational trainer shared with him the prospects of automobile sector including subjective insights and job opportunity that’s it offers upon completion of 12th Class.Thus, he decided to pursue the subject as he rightly understood and accepted that this particular vocational subject could give right direction to his career aspirations and could change the future of his family as well.
With time hiscuriosity, interest and hunger to learn more and more in this subject amplified.His Vocational Trainer also gave him correct verse and practical knowledge of automobile subject.
After he passed secondary examination an opportunity knocked at his door, his vocational trainer informed me that Indian Institute of Skill Development(IISD) is going to organized a placement camp for MarutiSuzuki India Limited at Parwanoo. It was the opportunity he was waiting for to pursue his carrier in Automobile industry and without any delay he gave his affirmation. Through the practical knowledge and skills he had developed in his automobile classes in previous at school,he was able to crack the written test and interview.Finally he was informed that he has been selected as and his delight was selected in Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.as intern with stipend of 12,000 p.m. It has been 18 months and he still continues to be a part of the organisation, pursuing ITI (NCVT).
